Capturing the Moment

In a way I want to document all the happy moments in my life through videos, photos and writing but I also want to cherish them and enjoy them in the moment. I’ve been watching quite a few daily vloggers recently and I always think about how lovely it would be to re-watch the videos after months or even years. See the change in yourself. Or maybe watch a happier moment when you’re feeling sad. My memory isn’t great so to remember the ‘good times’ would be useful. I’m lucky enough to say I’ve been happy or at least content pretty much all my life. But I don’t know when that’s going to stop. I don’t know when I’m going to need to look back in the past to remember what I feel now. But I also realise special moments with my loved ones cannot be captured by a photo or a piece of writing. They are feelings. But maybe the photo will trigger the feeling? It’s also the feeling of nostalgia you get when you read back on your diary; that has got to be one of my favourite feelings. I think I’m just rambling now; this is what happens when I just let it all out. Hmm, maybe I’ll make a series out of this. Call it ramblings. Let me know what you think 🙂

Until next time lovely people,
